"THE LORE OF THE RINGS"
BATTLELORE TABLETOP VARIANT CAMPAIGN

HERE.

CAMPAIGN BACKGROUND
Mythical Earth is divided into a number of realms populated by a diversity of races: men, orcs, goblins, elves, dwarfs, giants etc., each one reigned by a king, prince or overlord. The true power in this world however is wielded by those sorcerors, shamans and wizards with the secret knowledge to control the magic of the "Lore of the Rings". Lore Stones are clear precious gems found in the hills and mountains of Mythical Earth as is Lore Gold and both are much sought after by all parties involved... Once in the hands of Those Who hold the Power, the gold and stones are crafted into Lore Rings, enabling wizards of different levels to cast mighty spells against their enemies. Lore is a clear transparent gem, but after being set in a ring of Lore Gold (and the proper spells spoken...) by a good wizard, it turns deep purple. The Lore of the Rings crafted by their evil counterparts however, turns black...
We are eagerly awaiting the BattleLore "Call to Arms" supplement and - meanwhile - painting like mad!

DESIGNER'S NOTES:
This campaign is played with the BattleLore Tableptop variant rules, whereby the game no longer has a battlefield divided in 3 sections, because I took a different approach. The left-centre-right wing principle has here been replaced by colour-coding the units red, yellow and green, thus enabling the players to concentrate their units anywhere on the battlefield if they wish so. The rules also contain a battle system (same dice as per BL box) with a different spread of the hits in combination with saving throws.

When viewing the rules, please bear in mind that (after reading them thoroughly and playing a few games) the order sheet will normally suffice to play the game.
